Robert Bridson-NL Mathematician-won Oscar for computer modeling

Robert Bridson, a Mathematician who grew up in Newfoundland, has won a Technical Oscar for computer modeling used in making movies.

I thought you might be interested to listen to an interview & read the following articles to see how math & physics are used to create software that artists then use to create events in movies.

This might make math & physics classes seem more fun for many people.
He uses Newton's 3rd Law & physics.

You can hear him speak from 0.30 to 10:58 minutes.
He is charming - immediately likeable !
